Ryan! My soul bother and guardian angel! Hello dear stream browser! If you're reading this then you might be trying to decide if Ryan's stream is worth viewing. Well, before you start you should know a bit about him and his inspirations. Ryan's formative years were spent in the company of a sheltered tribe at the head of the Amazon. There he learnt how to lie in wait for hours and hours without twitching a muscle. A useful skill when all your food has to be caught by hand. It was after catching 3 monkeys, a tapir and 17 juicy crickets this way that he was awarded his first tattoo. Since then he was, of course, awarded dozens of tattoos for his services to the tribe. When after one day of particularly arduous lying down he returned to the village to find that loggers had destroyed it, he was forced to use his skill to survive alone. The first thing he did was to find the road the loggers drove on and lie down on it. He waited for days and then finally the loggers drove came along. When they stopped to move his body he used his finely honed warrior skills to despatch them and steal their car. That is when he first realised that lying in wait for traffic was his ultimate skill! As you look through his stream you will see many shots of Ryan showing off his lying down abilities for us. This is his way of drawing you into his world and escaping back to his childhood.

Ryan is the only Flickr friend that I have met in person so far. I got to say that his passion for photography, writing, his kids, and life is all as real as it comes across in his work. He didn't coin the term "suck my cock" but he definitely uses it a lot and he definitely sucks the cock of life...ummm...that didn't sound right. I don't always agree with his writing (I have called him Bret Michaels, Tupac, Rush Limbaugh, Tom Cruise, and drew a penis out of notes on one of his photos) but i do love his passion, his effort, and conviction to put his thoughts out there for all to either agree or disagree with. His photography is amazing and his locations and ideas are just insane. He has introduced me to new styles of processing that have greatly improved my photos and I am always excited to see what he is going to come up with next. I've only just recently come across Ryan's photographs, I'm not one for writing testimonials either but I was instantly grabbed by all the talent! I wish I had joined Flickr earlier and discovered his work before. The love he has for his children is so clear and so lovely to look at through his words and images. I love how he doesn't just take a picture, he writes an interesting description pretty much 100% of the time too - not that he would even need that anyway, his pictures ALL speak by themselves!
