Thanks for visiting. I am a photographer and art lover. I gravitate toward nature and outdoor photography, but also shoot other subject matter for a little variety. I have a fascination with birds and animals. At times, I like to transform a photo from how it really appeared into how I imagined it, creating something new. Other times, I like crisp, sharp reality shots. Photography is a creative outlet for me and I am inspired by the wide array of techniques and styles of images others post on Flickr.

Although I haven't been on FLICKR very long, I have seen many different photostreams of a lot of photographers and I have enjoyed many of their images but from the moment I visited Susans', I knew this lady had a very unique talent ! The way she is able to capture the right image, at the right moment, with excellent clarity and lighting, is incredible to say the least. I also have found her to be very helpful to me when I have asked her questions about equipment , techniques used or numerous others associated with groups on FLICKR. She is a very unselfish and caring person and I appreciate the way she took time out for me ! I love her images of sun-rises and sun-sets and of all the wild-life in her area. Wandering through Susan’s photo stream is like going to her hometown for a long leisurely visit and seeing her neighborhood through her eyes. While I exhaust all patience chasing birds and ducks, Susan has a distinct ability to capture our feathered friends with unique ease and it shows in her images. A glorious blend of nature shots, landscape, objects, structures and life make up the bulk of Susan’s images and it is always a joy to wait and see what she serves up next. Meeting her here has brought me a glimpse of Florida and other places she'd been to and I couldn't thank Flickr enough. Next slide please! lol
