IF thou indeed derive thy light from Heaven, Then, to the measure of that heaven-born light, Shine, Poet! in thy place, and be content:-- -wordsworth light from heaven....i'm quite positive that's what her camera picks up. first drawn to sheye's work when i found it - bouncy, pink and full of dance. i had only begun to follow her work when heaven's light became a bit brighter. when images wouldn't come, her words did, and i, like so many, followed her through her grief. most testimonials speak of her photographic work, but i'm most inspired by sheye's strength, her words, her thoughts, remembrances, and the new light that tips the edges of all her latest images. i love her edginess, her attention to detail, her savvy with color, or the colorless. i love the texture of her images and the rules that they deliciously break. mostly, i love what lies beneath her images. those that i'm most drawn to, are the images that have all the beauty of dancing light, the fragments of life being lived, floating on the air. giggles caught in flare, soft smiles woven in dust on light. light from heaven - indeed.

She knows just what to do with each image. That shows talent. I also like the way her love for her children come across in her imaging. I stare at the images. I can "hear" their childhood noises while viewing them. They make me feel as though I am there. To me, and for me, THAT'S good imaging!
