I'm a scientist/engineer. My pictures might reflect that. Mostly, they're experimental. Here are the cameras I might use:
Canon Powershot G7 point & shoot
Canon 40D DSLR
Canon 10D dslr
sigma 30mm f1.4 (EX)
canon 17-55USM f2.8 IS
Canon EOS5 film slr
28-105 ES lens (f3.5-5.6 maybe?)pinhole body cap (both fit the 10D as well)
Canon AE-1P film slr [photos off the ae-1 program]
28mm (forget aperture) [photos50mm f1.8 [photos]
135mm f2.8 (52mm polarizer also fits 50mm) [photos]
28-200mm f4 [photos]
Yashica Electro35 GSN rangefinder (2 - one with a chipped lens) - 45mm f1.7 lens [photos off the yashica electros]
Yashica 35 rangefinder
Argus C3 Matchmatic
Also, I enjoy developing B&W film at home. This is consistent with my experimental approach. I have been thus far scanning negatives with my canoscan 4400f and then printing with the photo printer. Maybe when I grow up I will learn to print to photo paper using an enlarger.

This. Woman. ROCKS. What else can you say about a photo junkie like Shetha? She's creative, she's not afraid to push the limits of film or her equipment, and she's super fun! You never, ever know what's coming next in her photostream, and I really love that, sometimes we get in ruts and shoot things we are comfortable with. Shetha is either comfortable with everything or nothing, and you can't tell which it is, but she attacks every subject with a passion and shares her humor and talent with us in every post. I don't think it's possible to look at her photos and not smile. : )

And someday I want to go for a walk at lunchtime with her. She knows some amazing hiking places.

I feel compelled to write this. You have to totally love the breadth and diversity of Shetha’s work. There is a real progression if you start at the beginning of her stream and work your way back; a very natural knack for this stuff and an inspiration. There is a real progression if you start at the beginning of her stream and work your way back; a very natural knack for this stuff and an inspiration. On top of that, she writes some of the best comments on flickr. She truly observes (maybe it’s the scientist in her), and always comes up with something insightful or just fun to say. I always appreciated her feedback, and it makes my day better.
