I hate writing these things. Basically, I love taking pictures. I recently bought a new dSLR (Jan. 2007) and I'm learning how to use it. If you have any positive feedback or advice, I'd LOVE to hear it.

Obviously, my main interests are "my boys" - my pets: Jerry, a 15 yr old Seal Point Siamese; Poco, a 9 yr old Pom/Chi; Brodie, a 3 yr old toy poodle; and Briscoe, and 2 yr old Seal/Chocolate Point Balinese. Truthfully, they're not ALL mine, but they think they are. The first two are technically mine. The last two belong to my mom. The lab/shepherd you see in my photos is Wolfy, my "gentle giant" who passed away last summer (2006) just before his 14th birthday. He was an awesome dog.

*NEW ADDITION* We just got a new kitten. A grey tabby Cornish Rex. We still have not found a name for him yet but you can see pics of him in my photo stream. He's really cute.

Also, I'd really like to learn how to do macro photography. I'll need to buy some new lenses, but in the mean time, I can still learn the basic principles. I do have a BIT of a background in fine art and art history, so hopefully, that will help, maybe? I'm a painter - for a hobby, not to sell. And I took some art history courses in university. Fine art is also a hobby of mine, although I don't spend as much time with it as I should.

Very soon, I will also be adding a section for photos for my new niece or nephew. I think it will be a niece but a nephew will be just as cool. CAN'T WAIT!!!!! Think ... September!
