I am originally from a small town in Ohio, but lived most of my life in the Washington, DC area while working for the Federal Govt. I retired in mid-2008 to the beach in Delaware and am enjoying a new phase of life
I volunteer, including tutoring K thru 2nd kids, reading to preschool kids, and visiting nursing home residents with my Shih Tzu, Missy. I became a Big Sister (with Big Brothers & Big Sisters of America) in 2013 and spend several hours a week with my Little, who is 8.
In late summer of 2013, I started my own beauty and skin care channel on YouTube. I really enjoy it as both a creative outlet and a way to help others.
