I find these very hard to write because I cannot describe myself in just a few words. What can I say? Like most people here on flickr, I love photography. I don't really have a style as I am still fairly new to this, so my stream is pretty much all over the place. I tend to point my lens toward nature subjects, but also try to challenge myself with other types of photos.
After quitting the 365 project in 2010, I've decided to start (and stick with) the 52 weeks project focusing on using my new camera, the Yashica EZ F521 for the year 2011. I am hoping the weekly uploads will be less stressfull and therefore I will enjoy myself more. And I will also be using my Canon Rebel XS on a very regular basis just for my own fun and enjoyment.
Outside of photography, I am a wife and mother. I work inside my home and set my own schedule, so I have to fight the flickr-urge on an almost hourly basis just to bring in some semblance of a paycheck. Luckily, my family is pretty patient with me and my shutterbug antics and doesn't complain very much when I turn on my camera.
I will be starting college in January 2011 to obtain a degree in psychology which I set out to do several years ago. Needless to say, this will be a year of making up for lost opportunities.
I consider myself a pretty friendly person, so if you comment on a picture or make me a contact, I'll try my hardest to reciprocate.

When I think of Shelley, two words come to mind: captivating & breathtaking. Shelley is a master of light and flare. Her macro nature shots are to die for and have become her customary thumbprint on flickr. Each image is just amazingly beautiful, radiating atmosphere and mood. It's very exciting to follow her on her 365 journey as she manages to capture mesmerizing beauty in each shot. Her visual awareness is on top form and I really enjoy visiting her stream everyday!
