Supporting and promoting a sustainable and profitable shell fishery in the South West and beyond; our members fish far and wide,but are concentrated in the waters of South Devon.

Many of our members fish an inshore potting area, which is unique in England. The 'Inshore Potting Agreement' (IPA) was originally developed between our members and members of the mobile gear sector to minimise gear conflict in the waters off South Devon. We were also part of the team who worked to secure the 'Mid Channel Blocks' - an area of the English Channel that is shared between UK and EU fishermen.
