I am a self taught Canadian artist who loves all forms of art

After Completing Art 30 in High School I took a break from drawing all together and started a career as a Graphic Designer, mostly dealing with Business Identity Marketing, Logos and other forms of graphic design. Now that I am a stay at home mother I have gotten back into drawing and have decided to try and focus on adding to my portfolio and establishing myself as an ARTIST not just a graphic designer. Art is a way for me to relax and escape from the world and let my creativity take shape. I prefer drawing media over painting and often use pastels and coloured pencils. I also enjoy photography and digital art as well; the possibilities are endless when it comes to creativity. My art studio in my home is my place of peace and solitude at the end of a busy day. I am grateful to have a husband who supports and encourages my passion to create........

As I sit in my studio planning my next masterpiece....brainstorming, losing myself in my thoughts; in my ideas and visions of the finished product. My mind races and often I cannot keep up to my own creativity, my own thoughts and continuous visual ideas……it's almost overwhelming at times. As the ideas flow freely my hands are put to work and my mind full of color pallets, concepts.........and achieving perfection. As I surrender to my talent, to my artistry; it begins to take shape........and for just that very moment in time I truly and completely love myself.......
