My biggest adventure really began as a 24 year-old american traveler with the sweetest old dog that ever lived, and an old pickup truck that became my home in 2009. While on the road, I visited all 50 American states at least twice in three years, supporting my full-time charity habit through faith and citizen photojournalism. Today I'm learning how to be a farmer in the southwest, traveling throughout the four-corners region working with animals, honey bees and humans. I manage a farm store and a nonprofit, but I occasionally jump on a bus to Mexico or climb a mountain in Colorado. These photos are a hodgepodge of various times and places; collections of images that I began posting here, years ago, as I wanted to look at them. I still travel a lot; I study broken systems and healing connections; I explore and ask questions and watch the way the light moves. I always have a camera around my neck, (good advice from a fantastic college professor) and I photograph moments that I find to be beautiful. If there is a photo of you on my photostream, it is with inspiration and gratitude that I share my admiration of our moment together. If there is a photo of your house, your front porch, your cats or critters, arts or gardens; then it is an image of deep appreciation. I hope to enjoy more of these moments in the sharing of our photos. Much Love :)
