Human. Very human. Foibles, ego, exuberance followed by sadness, moments of glory, moments of failure, occasional glimpses & feelings of the divine in nature. Atheist when it comes to religion, a believer when it comes to life/nature/music/creativity/the guy who dresses like a pirate and rides an incredibly tall bike.

I paint on flat surfaces, sometimes on location, sometimes from memory, sometimes using photos as a starting point. Lately, reminding myself to go for artistic expression - go a step beyond, not simply repeat what I see. Cultivating bravery.
