Hello! My name is Shaun Poston and I am from New Orleans, LA, USA. I purchased my first DSLR in December of 2012. It didn't take long for me to realize that this was the void I had been trying to fill since I was a child with no success. Ever since, I have been cramming my brain full of every piece of knowledge I could get my hands on trying to improve my new found love of photography. I have had a passion for art since I was able to hold a crayon and it has remained that way for the majority of my life. I have about 15 years experience as a graphic artist so all of this has had a tremendous amount of influence on me and has helped me transition into this amazing world of photography. There is just something about freezing minute moments of time and turning them into magnificent works of art, that is truly fascinating and inspires me to constantly improve my skill set. There have been so many amazingly talented photographers that have had such a huge impact on me through their work and I hope that I too, can produce work capable of having this same impact on new and upcoming photographers.
