I have lived in Saudi Arabia for many years and - weather permitting - prefer to spend my free time (weekends) driving on the desert highways with my two friends,who also enjoy the desert as much as I do.Though we do not have an off road vehicle, we have managed a fair collection of saudi wildflower pictures, ( especially during the winter and spring season.) by taking short hikes from the road side.

Kerala Wildflower pics are taken during vacations,home.

My references are taken - hopefully correctly - from the book Keralathile Kaattupookkal (Wildflowers of Kerala) by Professor Mathew Thamarakkad of Calicut and from the book Flowers of Saudi Arabia by Sheila Collenette.

Any errors in the identification is wholly mine and should not be attributed to my references.

I do not have a background in Botany. So,if you spot any mistakes in the flower identification / botanical names, your help in correcting the errors will be highly appreciated.
