BIO:

I am a freelance commercial shooter, artist and former photo editor a regional newmagazine. I produce diverse photojournalism for local and national publications and dynamic commercial projects for companies and artists. I own an art gallery, Nickerson Art Gallery in Chatham Massachusetts where I show my work and that of local artists.

I explore the possibility of seeing intricate parts of the world in a larger way. I am able to appreciate an observation without having the entirety of a moment distract me. My visions are ever changing—the details are at times tangible realities and at others blurred shadows against random space. My art holds meaning through its process and with the viewer’s own suggestions, representations and interpretations. I have produced commercial and fine art photography that conveys political and environmental messages.

Most of that work surrounds Cape Cod's coastal community in which I have been involved as an fishing industry worker and political activist.
