My name is Joanna, I'm almost 30, finished my PhD and living in Germany with my two maine coon cats. I love to discover, try, combine, design...

I like modern colours and contrast combination of them. Although there are projects where I use lots of browns, beige and dusty colours.

My favorite colours are gray, black/white, orange, aqua/teal.

My favorite color combos are mustard/teal and forest colours (orange, brown, green, olive, red).

I LOVE text fabrics!

Things I love: thread painting, art quilts with animals (birds, wolves, foxes), raw edge applique, paper pieced animals, embroidery, fantasy creatures (unicorn, phoenix), small prints, geometric prints and patterns, organic fabric, Cut out and Keep, Nature Walk, and of course I love my cats :)

Things that I could do without: dated fabrics (civil war, 1930's), batiks (if used elsewhere than in art quilt), large patterns, oldfashion quilt style.
