Hello, I'm a constant student of photography. I've been shooting since high school (first camera was a Minolta X-700), learning to roll film, process, and enlarge using B&W processes. I simply had to have a Nikon N8008 when they first came out and haven't looked back.

Most recently made the jump to digital with a kind gift from my younger brother (the D70 and 18-70mm kit lens) and this year purchased a D200 for myself. No worries for the old camera, the D70 went to my other brother who now uses it to capture photographs of his own son. Update: at the beginning of 2009, I bought a full-frame sensor (FX) D700 body and am extremely happy with the results.
