43 years old, don't drink and have recently given up smoking. I belong to a gym (one day I will look like a CK model!) and enjoy cycling for leisure.

I've been in the same job for 10 years so I suppose I'm fairley content, but not happy. My time with the same company has taught me a lot about people - especially the corporate climbers/work-shy hangers on and I don't suffer fools gladly!

I have always had a keen interest in photography from my first 'point and shoot' to my first film SLR. I progressed to a digital SLR about two years ago and have never looked back. But I am always keen to learn more - especially HDR!

I read history, principally late medieval/early modern, because of my fascination with what happened 'then' that shaped the 'now'. And suppose that's why I'm a bit of a culture vulture.

I'm opinionated and assertive and not afraid to speak my mind.
