My work touches on the mysticism of our world. I want to reflect this whether it is a portrait of my father or a wheelbarrow, to show the charm, the grace and the spirituality of my subject. We are of one source, given respect both man and inanimate objects can display an inner presence. All of this is done with my tongue in my cheek. My shots are meant to be funny in some subtle way. Titles are very important and give the image an alternative perspective. They help clarify my intentions and are part of the poetry of the image.
If I don't produce images that surprise myself, how can I expect to excite others?
