Why Shadow Hunter, you say?
I'm always hunting birds in the shadows at dusk.....

I started out in the Hudson River Valley near West Point and spent most of my childhood in Vermont on Lake Champlain , ninety minutes south of Montreal, Quebec. Later I lived on the Charles River in Boston's Back Bay before heading west. Spent many wonderful years in Wyoming and Colorado (Boulder & Breckenridge). I now call the Lone Star State home...Canon defector after over two decades....Finally got my revenge for them obsoleting my bag of FD glass..... Smooth transition to Nikon so far....I'm not married to my D300 yet...but we're engaged! Wink. Get good glass. Primes beat almost all zooms in IQ. Thank god for digital. It's really approaching film quality, it still can't beat Kodachrome, though... Tremendous saturation, grain barely perceivable projected 6' by 9' ! (I once took a trip with 80 rolls of 36 exposure Kodachrome 25, and shot 72 of them with my Canon T90!)
Check out PTLens! It'll correct your $300 lens to produce like a $3,000 one! Awesome and easy as pie! Bye Bye distortion.
After finding that nobody had started a Colorado National Monument group, I started up this one!

Also started a group for the Lone Star Flight Museum in Galveston, Texas..
