I am very happy to be writing a testimonial about Shachi's work. Her street is the tiny kingdom of insects nearby her home. As such it is a very big street, or it must be many streets. She is fearless, and goes daily to meet these new friends, and her mini-portraits are stunning. Her reflexes are definitely as fast as any street photographer, and through her titles and text for each photo you know she cares deeply and seriously about her subjects. In fact, I find her writing very imaginative and first-rate. I am always exploring her world with great pleasure, and this is because she makes her work with a great delight in the first place. Her passion is addictive, and her photographs will win anyone over. She is very generous with her comments on the works of others, and her stream is very popular on flickr.
