I enjoy all types of photos and I love to take pictures everywhere I travel, always looking for unique and interesting subjects. All of my photos are scanned (and cropped if necessary).

Recently I've been exploring the web, looking for images of hot air balloons , the aurora borealis, and Iceland.

When I happened upon the Flickr website I was amazed at the absolutely fabulous images I found here.

I am still overwhelmed with the shear quantity and variety of excellent artwork on this site. It's amazing that anyone can see pictures from all over the world, and beyond, without leaving their home. I've found wonderful, incredible natural wonders and awesome visuals in countrys and citys all over the world. My eyes have been opened to the multitude of talent just on this one website.

My work keeps me confined to home so I've recently been spending more time on my computer, and, ofcourse, Flickr.

On September 20 2008 I purchased a Canon / PowerShot SD850 IS Digital camera. I am currently experimenting and attempting to teach myself how to use this camera to the best of my abilities. The learning curve may be never-ending, but always great fun.

I think I'm addicted to Flickr. On Febuary 20 2009 I purchased a Nikon DSLR D40. I feel like a child in a candy store.....Can't wait to become familiar with my new Camera.
