I work with textiles primarily. I've been exploring indigo and aspects of shibori for roughly 20 years. It's an important part of my making as my formative years were spent in Japan. That experience has had a strong and lasting influence.

I've been fortunate to have have shared aspects of indigo and shibori in public schools in Raleigh, NC, Sertoma Arts and Pullen Arts Centers with Raleigh Parks and Recreation, Meredith College, the North Carolina Museum of Art and the Asian/Pacific Studies Institute at Duke University.
