I'd like to describe myself as chilled, easygoing, and intelligent, but I can't. Well one out of three is a start. I'm more bright, erratic and witty, always loyal, sometimes stubborn and frequently poor. I was born in 1958, so you do the math as the Americans say! I live in Cornwall in the UK I am Partner to the amazing Kim, proud Father of Ashley & Grandfather of Evelynn. I'm now semi-retired having left and then re-joined the NHS and in-between worked in a University for a year. I had a stroke in March 2019 and this has made me re-evaluate my life. But it hasn't slowed me down and my life is fuller than ever. As well as my love of photography, I like to ride my motorcycle when I can, spend time in 'the big shed' and keep the garden of our 200 year old cottage in some sort of order.

My photographic loves are Landscapes, Natural History and candid portraits. My tastes tend to run towards the fine art side of things although in my time I've tried my hand at most genres. I'm presently concentrating more on Landscapes. The images represented here are therefore more of a history than a coherent representation of my current body of work, although I plan to add images in the future once I have re-organised these photographs to accurately reflect their genesis. Therefore the personal images will be grouped together or made private. My Plant Image Library will be updated and other projects organised logically.

And finally, I have re-discovered my love of the analogue world, not just in photography, so I plan to document that passion her too.
