I have been sewing for about 35 years now.

My favorite thing about sewing is designing something from nothing.

A good day for me is to go into a great fabric shop and look at the fabrics to see what design I can come up with. I love the smell of the fabrics and am inspired by the colors & textures. There is nothing like the thrill of taking new fabrics home and into my sewing studio and coming up with a design and then having others say they love it.

Purse & Bag Design is my new passion. I think of the purse as a empty canvas that I can paint with fabric appliqué. I never run out of ideas.
