My husband Christian and I have been married since 2002 and we now have two sweet girls, Dinah, age 2, and baby Esther. I went to the University of Georgia and have a degree in Drama. That is not a joke. I love all things theatre, particularly the design aspects.

Since being home with my girls I have started sewing and crafting again. I would love to sew more than I can, but I have gotten quite a few projects done. My favorite is sewing gifts for people and things for my girls. I love surfing other sewing blogs to get ideas and inspiration. Find me on Pinterest to see some of what I am digging these days.

I decided to start my blog (www.sewinharmony.com) to chronicle my sewing projects…just posting a picture on Facebook wasn’t doing it for me anymore. I wanted to be able to share more about each project. I am also going to start selling some of my creations and I thought a blog was a good place to start with my shameless self-promotion. You won’t find me on Etsy (yet), but I am starting to take commissions via email.
