Environmental Microbiologist specializing in wastewater treatment by profession; amateur photographer interested mostly in nature, macro and micro photography, ships, travel and landscape photography. I have a passion to improve my photography skills, and always welcome constructive suggestions. I view the world through the eyes of a scientist seeking realism more than an artsy look, however, from-time-to-time I like to experiment in the later. Several of my images have been published in nature magazines and in university textbooks.

Most of all I am amazed that he takes time to "promote" award and encourge many others (such as myself). This testimonial give with much appreciation for the inspiration, CTPOSTER, Karen

SewerDoc is such a talented photographer. But beyond that he epitomizes the merging of science and art. He is a microbiologist by profession and carries a rich passion for nature, which he delicately and beautifully captures with his lens and time and time again treats us to its wonders. He is also a really wonderful flickr contact who not only posts his own marvelous shots, but watches those put up by his contacts and then responds in the nicest ways, always appropriately and generously. I tip my hat to you, SewerDoc. Pleasure having you as my photographic colleague and flickr Contact. Warmest regards, Mark
