Twenty-something recent college grad with a steady paycheck and a camera. None of which have anything to do with the others saving the graduation and the camera, as the latter was a gift for the former.

Generally, I like taking pictures, and that's why I do it. I put them on Flickr because I'm a showoff, and insecure enough to need confirmation that something is good.

Less generally, I'm actually engaged in a continuous effort to find my inner voice and express it using the camera. This is an incredibly difficult thing, fraught constantly with the danger of actually discovering it, and exposing it to the world for whatever comes back. Flickr has actually been a great tool for me in attempting to commit this work, largely because I can easily go through my work and see how in two years I've developed both technically and artistically.

I'll have to admit a healthy skepticism when it comes to photography and art.
