In my opinion, Serena is one the most creative, talented dog photographers out here. I am amazed at her ability to create images that are not only stunning and moving, but that tell a story or just hint at one that you must know the rest of. I came to identify with her great love for her bigger-than-life Rocco and cried when she lost him, and I laughed with bittersweet tears when the reins were handed to her tiny-bigger-than-life Ralph. I look forward to spending more time being awed by her spectacular talent.

I found Serena's photo stream via Explore, and ever since I've been a truly devoted fan! She is one of the best dog photographer's I have ever come across on Flickr. Whether or not it's a shot of her dogs Rocco or Ralph, she is able to capture the expression in their eyes and in their souls. She has a unique gift, and is able to capture dogs in their world. As owning two dogs myself, I know how difficult it can be to photograph them, but just by viewing her photos, you can tell that the dogs are totally at ease with her and their mood & expressions show throughout all of her images.
