Right now, my photography is a lot like my squash game. Every once in a while I get a good shot, and I get all excited and do a little victory dance and then I say to myself "Now, if I only I could do that on purpose!"

I'm a recent and delighted recipient of a Nikon D40 and excited to learn more about photography, so any comments and/or tips are welcome. I've only started using Flickr with any regularity within the past little while, and I'm really inspired (and humbled) by all the talented and friendly people to be found.
