Seldon is one of those rare finds in this digital aquarium - an inspired artist who has an innate ability to see things others would pass by. Seldon is one of those rare finds in this digital aquarium - an inspired artist who has an innate ability to see things others would pass by. He composes such serene and artistic photographs that they make me feel "I wish I could do something as FAB as that". Seldon is, indeed, an inspiration and I value his comments and witticisms as well as revel in his descriptions of how his work comes about. He would have you think it is accidental but those who know Seldon realise how each piece is a considered creation. So I raise a glass to Seldon, Imagineer extraordinaire - Cheers for making Flickr so much fun :-)

If you need to browse some refreshing and lively pictures of what most of us take for granted, look no further than Scott's photostream. While the majority of us, myself included, sometimes take a picture giving more thought to the post-processing rather than the initial composition, Scott manages to instead capture the essence and beauty of his surroundings without the need to open Photoshop. With his admirable attention to detail, you're not only passing by a pretty picture, but admiring the work of a true artist. With his bold descriptions to go with each image, Scott also presents his art in a manner that places you in the scene, wishing you were there. Scott uses his camera to capture fleeting moments and present them to us so we all may better appreciate our surroundings at any given time. Instead of searching for outstanding things to photograph, waiting for that elusive "life-changing picture" that never happens, I've found myself settling down to soak in the details around me and trying to focus on the elements of what actually makes a great picture, and I owe it to Scott.
