I've been taking pictures for years, but I've never really though of myself as into photography. Only in the last couple of years have I really found myself interested in taking GOOD photos, and improving my photography. I think I've managed to capture some decent shots, and I hope to continue to get better. Most of my work is landscape and nature photography, with some miscellaneous other. I've found myself caught up in the world of HDR imagery and so many of my newer images show that. I try to shoot as often as I can, and anywhere I think might be worth shooting. The way I figure it, the more pictures you take, the more worthwhile images come out. I started of shooting with a Canon S5, but have recently moved up to a DSLR, a Canon XSI, and am quite enjoying that.

You'll likely notice many pictures of our animals - they are a big part in our lives and so are a big part of our photography. We have four currently, although that number has gone up and down over the years. The current menagerie consists of -

Hank - 1 year old Siamese mix cat

Gabby - 8 year old Tabby mix cat

Ash - 11 month old Newfoundland dog.

Nuka - 4 year old Malamute dog

They are a handful, but also part of what makes life a lot of fun.

I'm always happy to discuss if you'd like to use my images in any way.

here's the chronology from my perspective: for a long time clint had a decent little point and shoot camera, and he didn't seem terribly interested in photography but still took some good snapshots here and there. one day, clint gets a little better camera. suddenly, as if from no place at all, his creativity explodes. all at once he has an amazing eye for composition and color, and even though i have little interest in taking landscape photos myself, his work consistently makes my jaw drop. and he's only gotten better since then. i honestly don't know where the hell it all came from, but it's a pleasure to my eyes that it did emerge after all. needless to say, i look forward with great anticipation to where he might go from here.
