Laura Kinney
Drag to set position!
Laura Kinney is a hobby photographer. She has been taking photographs since her parents gave her a disposable camera at Disneyland. She didn’t get serious about photography until she went to China. China was the furthest Laura had traveled. She wanted to document everything about her trip, including the Great Wall and the Summer Palace. There she got the bug to do more than just point and shoot. To document her trip, she tried to consciously frame shots and catch details.
Laura is a tax accountant by trade and has learned to be quite analytical. She has turned to photography as a creative outlet. She enjoys taking pictures of the life around us; whether that is different cultures, landscapes, or people. She loves capturing events, moments and to hold onto those memories with pictures.
Some of Laura’s influences are Lee Friedlander, Bob Martin and Natsumi Hayashi. Lee Friedlander for his way of capturing life in fun ways. Bob Martin for his way of capturing athletes in many different sports. Natsumi Hayashi for adding whimsy to her pictures.
