I'm a Getty Images Artist

I started taking photos in the winter of 2000. I have not been involved with much photography before that. My first camera was Nikon N60. Since then I am enjoying taking photos. I moved to Nikon D70 in winter of 2005. Found flickr around the same time but started uploading in Dec 2006.

I have now upgraded to D90.

Some basics I follow:

1. Many of my photos are taken with Aperture priority setting. I am using manual exposure more these days.

2. I generally do not Photoshop the contents of my photos. The usual steps for me are crop, contrast / brightness and sharpness.

3. If I happen to alter contents (color, subjects, background etc) then I tag the photo with Photoshop.

4. Most of my public photos are geotagged.

5. I change my buddy icon once in a while.

Thank you for taking interest in my profile and photos. I really appreciate your comments/favs.

My 9 year old son likes to browse my/contact's photos with me. Anything remotely creepy would be kept out of reach.
