I am a registered nurse who enjoys creating handmade items. I do various papercrafts including scrapbooking, altered art and Artist Trading Cards. I would say that I am an "outside the box" scrapper and I am interested in altered art of many types.
I love to do beadwork especially beaded jewelry. I also sew, cross-stitch, embroider, knit, crochet and do some tatting.
I love initiating & hosting get-togethers with my friends... I love to collect "treasures" (old jewelry, buttons, anything shiny really, etc) that I can use creatively... and now I am pregnant with our 1st baby - she is due October 15, 2008.

Shelley's a great Flickr friend - in fact, she's one of the first people I met online! Right from the beginning she was super supportive. Her enthusiasm is contagious, not to mention her talent! I'm glad to have met her here.
I've been trading ATCs with Shelley for some time now and she's an enthusiastic artist, and completely reliable in trading. I enjoy seeing what she creates in her mostly contemporary style. Her work is always interesting! Eileen, LI,NY

I always enjoy seeing what's new in the seeshells_creations photostream. She's got a great sense of humor, as you can see in her ATCs. Her art incorporates a lot of contemporary images but the themes are timeless. Shelley and I joined the Swap N Scrap group at about the same time. Through that group I've seen her be a very enthusiastic swapper who sends great items! She was one of the first people who noticed my ATCs. I benefit from her tremendous support when I doubt my efforts. Shelley's encouragement -- something she offers freely not only to me but for many other Flickrites -- is greatly appreciated.
