* First of all, at the end of the slideshow of my favorites, there is a picture of a curly-haired blonde woman in a pink shirt. That is not me, and I have no idea who she is! Are pictures just put there randomly by the flickr folks? I'm sure this lady is a fine person, but how do I get rid of that picture? o.O

A wanderer in SecondLife for close to two years, I'm stumbling enthusiastically into its opportunities for photographic creativity. Sadly, my computer is a laptop with a graphics card not intended for gaming. (Who knew I was going to discover SL soon after the purchase!) So I struggle and I cuss and I cry - and keep on keepin' on - when dealing with the lag and rezzing issues while shooting a picture. The analogy I mentioned somewhere is that it's like trying to move through a Ball jar full of molasses and marbles on a cold winter day.

 

The wonder and awe I feel when browsing through others' photos fills me with inspiration and motivation. I love my saved 'favorites' on flickr! I eagerly anticipate learning more about editing programs and figuring out different applications for photos.

 

Meanwhile, back to the struggling, cussing, and crying that's all worthwhile when I capture something that makes my creative spirit say, "Ahhh, that's what it's all about...."
