Sebastian Ugovsky (born Sebastian Ugowski Strassburger on Dec. 08 1976 in Berlin Germany) is a German author, screenwriter, theater and film maker, director, and apart from that also composer, music producer and conductor with notable stages of work in Europe and the US.

He is the son of the German actress Karin Ugowski and the recently died theater and film director Helmut Strassburger and has German, Jewish and Silesian ancestry. His prior fields of work are writing and staging. His work as a film maker can be considered as film d'auteur.

Resulting from a classical music education in a school program for highly gifted when he was a young boy, he pristinely was designated to become a classical music artist, hence he is remaining to be a multi-instrumentalist and to be certified with absolute hearing, what disembogues into his work as a composer, conductor and into his own film scores.
