I am a 81-born German guy. Originally I was born in Nuremberg (south-germany), where I grew up and went to school. For my studies of media technology I moved to Ilmenau (quite a small village in east-germany) where I stayed for more than 3 years before I moved to Iceland for working there as intern. So Iceland became one focus of my photographic work. Due to my studies in Germany, I had to leave this beautiful island in 2006, but I did not stay for a long time in Germany. Now Helsinki/Finnland is the current station in my life - and second photographic focus.

What I like most in photography is being out there in the nature. Waiting in a beautiful and peaceful landscape, searching for the most beautiful light available.
