I express myself through my own world of nature, passion and struggle and welcome everyone to feed from what I do.

My name is Sebastiano Ranchetti and I was born in in Milan in 1961. I became a graphic designer in the early eighties in Germany and since then I have lived in London and Florence and worked as designer and art director, mostly in the publishing industry. I currently live in the Florentine countryside with my wife Laura, our three daughters a cat anda dog.

In 2004 I created my first work as author-designer-artist, a series of four textless books entitled "Think in color". Since then I have created a number of illustrated books for children that are appreciated also by adults and have been published in Italy, Mexico, Korea and the US. I also create custom portraits and run the Popdesign studio with my wife; you can see our work at www.popdesign.it.

My colorful digital prints of animals have been exhibited in art galleries and other venues around Florence. These artworks have received a very favorable response, prompting me to look for new ways of sharing them, by creating calendars, postcards, prints and t-shirts. The images are all vectorial and can be scaled to any size.
