Many times it is difficult for me to let a painting go. I place so much of my personality within the work that it becomes a part of me. I like to think that whoever buys my work, purchases it because they have a void within them that my art helps fill. The joy, fear, ecstasy, or agony, that I project within a piece are transferred to those in need of emotional recovery similar to the way organ donor's lifesaving gifts are transplanted to those in need of physical recovery.
