Since her incarceration in 1998, Season has indeed strived to turn her life around. She was the life and soul of Wing C, being a true inspiration to fellow inmates and staff alike. She was recently granted custody of her Roomba, having previously lost it in a poker game with her cell mate Big Sally. Sadly, Sally had to stay behind upon Season's release, but she keeps up with her new life on the outside by checking her Flickr account regularly. Thanks to Flickr Season no longer has to wear her cute 15lb ankle bracelet, as her parole officer can now conveniently check up on her from the comfort of his own home. (She does however walk with a bit of a limp now, just until the Popeye musculature of her left ankle settles down a bit.) Yes, Season has overcome a lot in her young life - we should all feel proud of her progress!

Her technical and artistic prowess is far beyond that for which she'll give herself credit. What really stands out, however, is the sense of fun in her photos. It's a gift to be able to share that in such a beautiful way, and I'm so glad that she does. Truly an inspiration.
