I started running around with a camera when I was 11 years old :) I grapped the Minolta of my father and walked through the woods looking for birds. That was the beginning and throughout the following years I never lost my passion for photography.

20 years later, working as an engineer, I tried to find time for photography. But life offers sometimes crossroads, with new opportunities and life changing moments. I had one of these moments in 2001 when I came first time to the Sinai Peninsula. I got hooked by the colorful underwater world and the rugged desert landscape.

It was not an easy desicion to quit my job, but I did it. I moved to Dahab a small and magic Bedouin Village on the east coast of South Sinai. The first years I spent with scuba diving, technical diving, underwaterphotography and working with my partner "José" on our small business.

Living on Sinai comes with great moments, hard challenges and sometimes tragic events. Bombs, Revolutions, plane crashes ... I Am still here, but with a different mindset. Life is precious and real happiness comes from following your dreams and passion. I find incredible happiness and peace being out in this amazing desert nature.
