From April to September Sea Harris offer scheduled full day excursions to St. Kilda and half-day excursions to the Shiant Islands as well as providing private charters to many small Islands accessible from the Isle of Harris. With St. Kilda excursions departing from Leverburgh in South Harris & Shiants excursions departing from Tarbert in North Harris, our scheduled Island visits are accessible to anyone visiting Lewis & Harris during the summer months.

The Enchanted Isle is a purpose built motor cruiser, equipped with toilet facilities & comfortable indoor seating for up to 12 passengers. The Skipper of the Enchanted Isle, Seumas Morrison, has lived in Harris all his life & has worked the seas around his native Island for nearly 15 years. The crew of the Enchanted Isle will do everything possible to ensure that you have and safe & pleasant journey with Sea Harris.

The archipelago of the Outer Hebrides is made up over 200 Islands of which only the largest Islands, 12 in total are populated today although as recently as the turn of the last century many of the smaller Islands in the Outer Hebrides were populated by small self sufficient communities. Within proximity to the Isle of Harris alone, the islands of Pabbay, Taransay, Ensay, Killegray, Scarp, Soay, Scotisay, St. Kilda and The Shiants have all suffered total depopulation within the last hundred years. Today these uninhabited and elusive Islands offer a fascinating insight into the natural environment and the turbulent past of the Outer Hebrides.
