Birder since the age of eight, still interested in all aspects of Ornithology, but have a special interest in behaviour, habitat relationship and migration, and a fascination of nomenclature.

Took up photography in my thirties as a method of recording what I had seen, still a birder first but capturing a good image rather than a record shot is now important.

Since COVID lockdown, when travel was restricted I got into Butterflies and Wild Flowers and I now spend a lot of time between April to September on these but still prioritise birds.
