Scubazoo is a team of professional underwater cameramen and photographers who have an intense love and appreciation of the marine world. The combination of Scubazoo’s location in the epicenter of the planet’s greatest marine biodiversity and our extensive underwater experience, scientific knowledge and passion for filming and photographing marine life are the facets that make Scubazoo unique.
Having worked on a wide spectrum of underwater projects, including many different productions broadcast on National Geographic, Discovery, BBC and many more TV channels, Scubazoo is fast becoming one of the world’s leading underwater imaging organisations.
Scubazoo's location has given rise to our large and ever expanding stock footage and photo libraries. Scubazoo have cameramen and photographers in the water 365 days of the year in SE Asia, the Maldives and beyond which results in their cameramen filming and photographing rare animals and unique behaviour on a regular basis. The main emphasis of both libraries is on underwater marine life and covers subjects from the largest Cetaceans to the smallest pygmy seahorse. With the world's media increasingly focused on the environment and the sustainability of the oceans finite resources, there is a rising demand for environmental human impact images. Scubazoo's environmental image library is a significant resource and has been used by NGOs such as WWF and Greenpeace, as well as major news networks including CNN and ITN. It covers wide ranging subjects such as cyanide fishing, dynamite fishing, trawling, shark finning, coral bleaching and deforestation.
Scubazoo’s future is very exciting and we sincerely hope you enjoy it with us.
