I live in the lush, green, cool, and often wet Pacific Northwest. My passions are photography, being outdoors, gardening, children's books, and strategy board games.

I volunteer as a Girl Scout Leader, a Humane Society Foster Parent, and in various capacities for our local public school. I used to work in medical administration, but at the moment I'm enjoying the flexibility of working as a freelance photographer and caring for a neighbor's young children. I know I am blessed to not have to work full time right now, and that is why I try to fill my days with volunteer work, also known as "housework avoidance syndrome."
