I've been on Flickr for a long time. It is amazing to look at your earliest photos when I considered myself a decent photographer, to now knowing the truth that I was terrible when I started out. I will never delete my earlier works, but I may start making some of the older shots private so I might have a more impressive online portfolio of works that represent what I now enjoy about photography.
I do try to keep in touch with my contacts by fav-ing and commenting on their photos. If I haven't heard from a contact in a while I may delete them so I can converse more easily with those that reciprocate. It's nothing personal; I just can't keep up with all the casual acquaintances that have made me a contact over the years.

If you a commercial business and want to use one of my photos you have to pay (gasp) for that privilege.
I am archiving my older photos here as a backup to my hard drive (most of them are what I would consider snap shots, not art, but they contain some nice memories).
If you add me as a contact please say "hello" from time to with a comment now and again. If I don't hear from you in a couple of months you will probably be removed from my contact list. I'd rather have friends that I converse with rather than a bunch of "contact collectors". Hope you understand!
Your comments and criticisms are always welcome.
Thanks for taking a look at my photos.

It has taken me a long time to finally write a testimonial for Scott because there are so many nice things to say about him, I didn't know where to start. It has been a privilege to get to know Scott through his photography on Flickr. Scott's photographs of the very photographic and cute Ripley and his wife, "the lovely Linda" illustrate the kind, gentle and yet extremely humorous person that he is. The photographs he takes of the places within New Jersey almost make me want to visit New Jersey....almost :) Scott is a great addition to the Super Secret FF group with his witty and funny comments. He is also a great Flickr Friend.

Scottnj's pictures are full color and life I don't know anyone that can capture that perfect scene as well as he can plus he is much better photographer then that scottnj61 person! Also he is one of the funnest people I know who can find humor in almost every photo he comes across.
Scottnj61 says he is an "amateur" at photography, but you would never know it by looking at his shots.
