Been taking Photos for years..Never realising that it could be fun and not just for taking Pics of the kids...
Now getting to grips with a new camera and any advice that Flickr dudes or dudettes want to offer will be gratefully received and learned from..
I had an old Zenit camera and the pictures you could take with it (once you had set all the focus,iso etc) were wonderful..My wife bought me a cheap 4mp camera and i was taken into digital..no more developing costs and instantly available on your PC..but the bugger ate batteries like Pie lovers at a Pie fest..My trusty Sony Erriccson Camphone takes outstanding photos with its 2mp setup but lacks any real depth..Some of the earliest photos in my stream are from this phone..
Next i saved and bought a Kodak Z710, this camera i used for nearly two years and really loved it, Its obvious limitations became quickly realised and i started saving for a newer better one.
A couple of years back I purchased a new Fuji Finepix S200exr. This camera is really great and i wanted to stick to a bridge as you dont need to carry a case full of expensive lenses. I think i will stick to Fuji for the foreseeable future.
I have now bought my first filters for the Fuji, ND,IR and a few others, this should gave my photography a little lift to where i want to be..
I currently use Elements 10, with various plugins and Media Chance Hdr software to do a little postscript manipulation, If you dont like this kind of photo manipulation, dont look into my stream as its full of it, I didnt make those photos for anybody except me, Comments other than "Yuk" will be greatly appreciated.

I AM A HOBBY PHOTOGRAPHER WITH NO PLANS TO CHANGE MY SHIT.
I found Flickr around November 2008 and i couldnt leave it alone..I then purchased a pro membership and set about filling my photostream with all my stuff from previous and new snaps from my new Fuji. Talk about value for money, its the best 18 quid ive spent in a long while..I recomend if you out there dont have Pro, get it. i reached my 200 photos quite quickly and now there is no upper ceiling to what you can upload.(other than the size of the snaps and videos).
Armed with my digital camera and if my spine is up to it, i will be out and about looking for that picture to share with you. I have added a few short video's (Mostly Railway Stuff) and more will follow as they become available to me. As this is a photography sharing site i didnt think that there was any place for video but on checking some of the clips that are available i quickly changed my mind on this. I would also like to say to all the people that have viewed & commented on my stuff, a big thankyou, and to all the people that have made contact with me, thanks also, its really great to get feedback and ive made quite a few new contacts over the last while
Some of the photos that are featured here on Flickr are quite simply stunning and i get blown away on a daily basis with the superb works of art that people are willing to share on Flickr. Keep it up everybody, its really amazing.
