I've been a casual photographer since childhood when I began shooting an old Kodak Instamatic 100 (126 cartridge film). Played with my dad's Minolta SRT-101 as I got older and became a yearbook photog in high school. Bought a Nikon FE-2 when I graduated hs. Lots of other cameras through the years. One favorite was an Olympus XA-2 that I used for two years while living in Taiwan 1987-88. Currently shooting (primarily) a Panasonic Lumix GX1 (with lenses Lumix 20, 14-42, and 45-200) and a Lumix LX7.
Though my first declared college major was photography, I ended up pursuing language and literature and now work as a university professor administrator. My photography is focused primarily on family, friends, and travel.
