I got to know Scott a little bit through various groups we both belonged to. Constantly running into each other in threads and eventually adding each other as contacts, then friends. To me, a true photographer is one who can capture an image and at the same time include a little of themselves in each shot. If you walk away from viewing the image and you've felt an emotion, then the photographer has done an outstanding job. Well according to my definition or any definition, Scott is an awesome photographer and a wonderful friend. He always has a smile and a kind word for anyone. I truly enjoy all of his photographs, but you must make time to view his pocket-watch series...they left me in tears!

He constantly supports his friends with hearfelt and insightful comments while maintaining a level of humility about his own work.
