Hi

I am an amateur photographer that has always enjoyed taking pictures. After a life changing event in 2010 my interest in photography grew as I spent more time taking pictures and developing my post processing skills.

In the latter part of 2012 I was diagnosed with a rare and incurable type of blood cancer that has opened my eyes to the fact life is short and you should make the most of it. I am now focusing my spare time on capturing the things I see and gradually transforming the picture to enhance its beauty. I enjoy taking photos of anything; especially animals as I love capturing close ups which display their emotions.

All of my pictures are my own work using skills I have taught myself. None of it would be possible without the support of my wonderful wife who follows me round and patiently waits as I take pictures.
